Continuing in the Posters series, here is a travel poster for Kaʻena Point State Park on the island of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi.
If this location looks a little familiar, the photo that the poster is based on was shared in a recent Adventures by Burnsland post. A few days after that post, I was looking for something to draw. I had loved the photo, so I decided to make a poster version of it, using the photo as a rough guide.
A travel poster from Fall Creek Falls State Park in Tennessee.
You may remember that I have created a few travel posters for some places that we have visited. After our Tennessee Waterfalls trip, I thought it would be good to create a poster for that trip as well. However, the more I got into it, the more this ended up just being for Fall Creek Falls, which was probably the most impressive waterfall that we saw.
The San Antonio River Walk in San Antonio, Texas, is the latest addition to the Poster Series.
I went to San Antonio on a quick work trip at the end of January, and you can read more about that and see some photos at Adventures by Burnsland. For the one night I was there, I stayed in a hotel on the River Walk, and I had a few minutes after breakfast to go exploring before the work stuff got started.
A travel poster promoting Hot Springs National Park in Arkansas.
Earlier, I had made a travel poster for Oʻahu after our 2023 Hawaiʻi Trip. At that time, I also thought about how it would be fun to create posters for some of the places that we visit. When we visited Hot Springs recently, I knew that would be a good poster subject, too.
There are several National Park posters out there, but I thought it would be good to add one more.
A travel poster for the island of Oʻahu in Hawaiʻi is a reminder of our June 2023 Hawaiʻi trip.
When we go places, I sometimes think it would be cool to have a travel poster from the places that we go. There probably already are plenty of travel posters for those places, but not like I would envision them. So I thought I would create this one for Oʻhau.
