Tiki by Moonlight

A Tiki enjoys an evening on the beach by moonlight, with the ocean waves behind him and the moon shadows in front of him.
I had not drawn anything in a while, because I could not come up with something to draw. After waiting unsuccessfully for inspiration to strike, I started to think about what I could draw. I realized that I had not drawn a Tiki lately, so I decided that would be my subject.
As is usual for me, this Tiki looks similar to many of the past ones, but he also looks a little different, too. And the style is slightly different as well, because it is always good to change things up a little.
How long will it be before there is more Tiki art? That is a good question. But I have a feeling this one is not the last one.
Not Alone
While it might look like this Tiki is all alone out there on the beach, I like to think that he has lots of friends just out of view. They were probably just taking individual photos of each other in front of the ocean, just like we do now for social media. So he is far from alone. Otherwise, he would not be smiling so big.
Friends are great to have so that you can share good times with them. Friends are also good to have when you are going through not-so-good times, because they can help you through those times as well. We can lean on each other for support and encouragement, and also for laughs and good times.
Friendships do not happen overnight. Real friendships take time to grow, but they are definitely worth it in the long run.
Friends are a blessing. Close friends are an even bigger blessing. We are blessed with lots of friends and some close friends, and I hope that you are, too.
Two are better than one, because they have a good reward for their toil. For if they fall, one will lift up his fellow. But woe to him who is alone when he falls and has not another to lift him up! - Ecclesiastes 4:9-10 ESV

About the Artwork
As with the previous Tiki art, this one was created using Adobe Fresco. But as I mentioned above, the style is a bit different this time around for lighting and shading and such. And this one has a wood texture, while the previous one did not.
Also, the moon has been a recurring theme in some (but not all) of the recent art pieces here. Don’t read too much into that, though. And once again, the moon looks a little different each time, too. But in those previous cases, it would not do to have a moon with a Tiki face, would it? It all comes down to how I am feeling at the time.
