Surf Tiki of the Summer Months

A surfing tiki is the latest Tiki of the Month. But of which month?

As you may remember, the May Tiki was posing with his board. And now this guy is actually out catching waves. But close observers may note that these are actually two different tikis. However, they must be related, due to the strong family resemblance.

And congratulations to the tiki for being out there and happily doing what he loves to do. He hopes you can say the same thing.

What Schedule?

Yes, June turned out to be a little busy due to a little vacation, so there was no Tiki of the Month last month. Therefore, this tiki will serve as the Tiki of Two Months, with those months being June and July. Hopefully that will not become a regular thing.

There is no hard and fast schedule to anything around here. Many things in life should work that same way, too. Do not put too much pressure on yourself to meet unnecessary goals. Just go with the flow, and catch a wave whenever it comes to you.

About the Artwork

I originally set out to use the same style for this that I used for the May Tiki. But the more I worked on it, the more it did not work. I was not happy with the outcome. So I started over again and came up with what you see above. I am much happier with that. Interestingly, I was happy with the last one when I created it, too. And I do still like that last one. But now I like this one better. My tastes evidently changes from month to month. How about yours?
