Falling Leaves Tiki of the Month

Falling Leaves Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
The Tiki of the Month for November has lots of falling leaves to deal with, although all of those leaves are a problem of his own making. Even with all of those leaves to rake up, this month’s Tiki still looks happy about it all. Maybe that is because he knows he has another Tiki to help him with this chore. When thinking about what to do for the Tiki of the Month for November, I realized that last year’s November Tiki was all about Thanksgiving.
October Tiki of the Month for Halloween

October Tiki of the Month for Halloween

Burnsland
The October Tiki of the Month is ready for Halloween, complete with his mask. Does a mask like that really hide his identity? Probably not. But he is happy to take his place in the Tiki of the Month lineup. Maybe next year we should work on getting him a better costume. Something that hides his identity more, perhaps? Are Halloween costumes even supposed to hide your identity? Probably not, but that’s okay.
September Tiki of the Month

September Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
The September Tiki of the Month has lots of leaves to rake, since the fall season (or autumn, if you prefer) is upon us. And no matter how many leaves you rake, there will still be more to rake later on. Actually, here in Tennessee, most everything is still green. A few trees are starting to lose their leaves, and I am sure that the other trees will start to turn in the next few weeks.
August Tiki of the Month

August Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
The August Tiki of the Month looks a bit different than some of the recent tikis of the month, but that is okay, because he does not mind being different. While some of the past tikis have been happy and fun, this one looks a bit more serious. He has a different purpose, as he is left to guard the tiki home while the others are out having fun. So now I am interested in knowing what this tiki home looks like.
Surf Tiki of the Summer Months

Surf Tiki of the Summer Months

Burnsland
A surfing tiki is the latest Tiki of the Month. But of which month? As you may remember, the May Tiki was posing with his board. And now this guy is actually out catching waves. But close observers may note that these are actually two different tikis. However, they must be related, due to the strong family resemblance. And congratulations to the tiki for being out there and happily doing what he loves to do.
May Tiki of the Month

May Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
The Tiki of the Month for May is ready to hit the waves with his super-cool surfboard. He is just waiting for the right surf conditions to head out and hang ten. Except that he does not have ten to hang on with. Just a minor technicality, however. As spring gets closer to summer, I begin to think more and more about the beach. So naturally, the Tiki of the Month for May reflects that.
April Tiki of the Month

April Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
The Tiki of the Month for April does not mind a few April showers as long as he has his umbrella handy. He does not let a little rain get him down! If you are new around here, the Tiki of the Month project started at the original Burnsland site and has continued here at Art by Burnsland. Be sure to check them all out! Don’t Blame the Rain We have had quite a bit of rain here in our area this April.
March Tiki of the Month

March Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
Happy Spring Tiki! The Tiki of the Month for March is happy that spring has arrived! This continues the Tiki of the Month series from the original Burnsland website at this new Art by Burnsland site. It appears that the winter weather may finally be behind us, at least for the most part. So this Tiki is celebrating with his 3-leaf clover. He was apparently not lucky enough to find a 4-leaf clover.
Birthday Tiki of the Month

Birthday Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
Celebrate! The Tiki of the Month for February is a birthday cake tiki! Because someone around here has a birthday today. I won’t say who it is, but I hear he is celebrating the big 2-5 today. Or maybe those digits should be in another order. I remember some years ago when word got out that Disney would stop having big celebrations for their characters’ birthdays because putting that number out there made them sound old, which could make them sound out of touch.

Winter Tiki of the Month

Burnsland
In the Cold A tiki braving the cold chill of winter is the latest Tiki of the Month. You usually picture tikis in warm, tropical climates, don’t you? So does this guy. He would much rather be somewhere warmer than this bleak winter landscape. Right now he is questioning how he ever got talked into coming to this place to begin with. He feels like he just won the “Most Gullible Tiki” award.
