How to Have a Good Day

How to have a good day

How to have a good day:

  1. Decide to have a good day.
  2. Let nothing change that decision.

I had a thought the other day, and so I thought I would share that thought with you, too. I also thought the thought might look better like this instead of just plain words in a social media post. So here is that thought for you.

That thought might seem like an oversimplification at first. And maybe sometimes it is. But so many times, our moods are a choice. If you choose to try your best to have a good day, you will often succeed.

When something bad comes your way, you have a decision to make. Will I let that bad thing get me down? Is it really that bad? Am I just overreacting? Can I still keep a positive attitude despite this bad thing?

Choose to look for the good things. Choose to have a good attitude. Choose to share that good attitude with others.

Life is all about choices, so choose wisely!

Brothers, I do not consider that I have made it my own. But one thing I do: forgetting what lies behind and straining forward to what lies ahead, I press on toward the goal for the prize of the upward call of God in Christ Jesus. - Philippians 3:13-14

About the Artwork

At first, I wondered if I should even include this post in the Art area of the Burnsland site. But it is artwork, sort of. And it is not necessarily an Adventure, although actually all of life is an adventure.

I wanted to do something interesting for the background, but I did not want it to distract too much from the message, so I just kept it simple with some ocean wave patterns.

And yes, no one has ever called my handwriting “neat”, but I still keep on using it.

All created with the Procreate app with an Apple Pencil on my iPad.
