Your browser does not support the video tag. Trick or Treat! Happy Halloween from an animated Mobius the Goat! And if you can’t see the animation, hover over the image and then pick the play button. Or, if you get tired of the animation, I suppose you could use the same method to stop it. But who would get tired of a smiling, trick-or-treating goat?
As you might imagine, Mobius is hoping for more treats than tricks this year, so be nice to him, please.
After being away for more than a year, Mobius the Goat returns.
You may remember Mobius the Goat from his earlier appearances here. When I asked him, Mobius would not say where he has been all this time, but it looks like he has spent some time at the beach.
He would also not comment on whether he has had some “work done” since the last time we saw him.
Party Time! Mobius the Goat presents a birthday cake and fireworks in honor of my 51 years.
In some past years, I have offered up a self-portrait in honor of my birthday. But I have not changed much at all since last year’s birthday, at least in terms of appearance. I am a year older now, so that has changed. But I think I still look pretty much the same. So why bother with another photo?
Bounty Hunter Mobius the Goat appears as Boba Fett on the sands of Tatooine, with the twin suns and even a Bantha off in the distance.
Star Wars-type people will certainly notice that Mobius the Goat chose Boba Fett’s bounty hunter costume from “Empire Strikes Back” and “Return of the Jedi”, instead of what Boba Fett now wears in “The Book of Boba Fett”. He does like the show, but gray is more of his color than black.
Change Is Good! If you have visited the Burnsland website here over the past several months, you may have noticed that the banner graphic at the top of the page has changed a few times. I like to change things up sometimes, so I thought a banner graphic appropriate to the season, holiday, or other such circumstance might be in order. And because those banners change, I thought I would collect some of them here for posterity.
Merry Christmas! Mobius the goat wishes you a Merry Christmas! And while Mobius is not actually Santa Claus, he thinks it is fun to play the part from time to time. Mobius hopes that Santa is really good to you this year!
Mobius the Goat has appeared in various situations during this past year, becoming the more or less official mascot of Burnsland. But I think this one is my favorite so far.
Be Thankful Mobius the Goat is a thankful goat, and he wants to remind you to be thankful, too.
It might seem a little silly to remind you to be thankful as the Thanksgiving holiday is here. But as I often say, remember to be thankful every day of the year and not just on one day. Or not even just for the month of November. Be thankful all year long.
Running for a Touchdown! Mobius the Goat runs toward the endzone for a touchdown in a football game. Just a few more yards to go!
And while Mobius the Goat is a goat who plays football, he does not claim to be the football G.O.A.T. And he does not see the point in entering into that conversation, either, as that is somewhat up to personal opinion. Instead of worrying about being the G.
Goat or Tiki? Mobius the Goat appears in tiki form in some new artwork.
Is this the latest in the Mobius the Goat series, or is this the latest in the Tiki series? Why can’t it be part of both series? Let’s just go with that. And besides, how many goat tikis are there out there? I’m guessing not very many.
I have had the idea of drawing Mobius as a tiki character for some time, but I was not quite sure of how it would turn out.
Headed Back to Class It is that time of year again when everyone goes back to school, including Mobius the Goat.
We have not seen Mobius the Goat around here lately. His last appearance was relaxing by the pool in Florida. So I figured it was a good time to see what he was up to. And like all good “kids” (yes, that is my weak attempt at humor for the day), Mobius is going back to school.
