2024 Pumpkins - No. 3

Burnsland
A jack-o-lantern pumpkin sits in the pumpkin patch on a moonlit night in the third (and final) artwork for the Burnsland Pumpkin Patch for 2024. I know what you are thinking: Who carves a pumpkin and then puts it back out in the pumpkin patch? I do not have a good answer for that, but as you can see, it is happened here. I guess they thought that he would feel at home back in the pumpkin patch.

Burnsland
A Pumpkin Man stands out in the field on a moonlit night in the second entry of the Burnsland 2024 Pumpkins. For this pumpkin, instead of just drawing a random pumpkin (or four or five) as I have done in the past, I decided to make this one more of a character. And isn’t he all happy, smiling and waving in a friendly manner? Who says Halloween has to always be scary stuff?

Burnsland
A smiling pumpkin jack-o-lantern with a warm glow from inside is the first of the Burnsland 2024 pumpkins. October has arrived1, as it does every year after September. And that is a great time to get out your pumpkin decorations, if you have not already done so. No judgement if yours are already out. Back in 2023, I started the Burnsland Pumpkin Patch, so why not add to that this year?
The Rocketeer Goes Trick-or-Treating

The Rocketeer Goes Trick-or-Treating

Burnsland
The Rocketeer goes trick-or-treating for Halloween. Or is that just someone in a Rocketeer costume? Obviously, it is just someone in a costume, because the real Rocketeer would be flying through the sky instead of just walking on the ground. And it looks like he must be just getting started, because his bag looks rather empty. Hopefully he can fill it up with some good loot soon. Halloween Memories My sister and I used to always go trick-or-treating around our neighborhood when we were growing up, even if our costumes were not as elaborate as this.
A Bat for Halloween

A Bat for Halloween

Burnsland
A bat flies in above the trees, just in time for Halloween. Fortunately, he appears to be a friendly bat. People are often afraid of bats, but we enjoy seeing them in our yard. Bats eat insects, and we have plenty of those where we live, so we could use even more bats than we have. We even talk of putting up a bat house or two, but we have not done that yet.

Burnsland Pumpkin Patch Volume 2

Burnsland
Here is another round of jack-o-lantern pumpkins from the Burnsland Pumpkin Patch for this year. Watch out for that guy in the upper right. He looks a little questionable. As with the first batch of pumpkins, these guys were fun to create. But they were just some quick drawings that I put together. Nothing too serious, but just a fun way to pass a little time. Just for Fun Is having fun becoming a lost art?

Burnsland Pumpkin Patch Volume 1

Burnsland
The Burnsland Pumpkin Patch has some interesting looking characters this year. Most of them are happy to see you, and they all have that inner glow about them. This is considered to be Volume 1 because I anticipate there being others before Halloween actually arrives. In some ways, September seems a little early for jack-o-lantern pumpkins, but I thought I would go ahead and roll these out there. Unique Pumpkins are fun and easy to draw.
